Double Flute:
Pairs of flute players have been common since earliest times, and sometimes a single player would perform on two flutes at the same time.

Later this gave rise in some areas to the development of multiple flutes, though with the exception of South American examples from antiquity the multiple flute has a much shorter history than the multiple reed pipe.

To Play:
Cover the four top holes with the left hand and the three holes on the other pipe with the right hand. Just blow and you are harmonizing in thirds.
